Admissions

At the Stonehenge School it is our commitment to ensure that every student fulfils their potential. We aim to create an outstanding school where all students are fully valued. The students feel safe, happy and are fully supported as young people and are fully integrated into school life through our caring and supportive pastoral provision. Alongside the pastoral offer we offer a robust and challenging academic programme. The curriculum is both broad and balanced and teaching and learning is strong at the school. This was evidenced within our recent Ofsted inspection in 2017.  For further details of the subject and exam boards we offer please click here.

Stonehenge is a community school. All admissions are controlled by the School Admissions Team, County Hall, Trowbridge BA14 8JB.

To contact them by telephone dial 01225 713000; alternatively by e-mail at admissions@wiltshire.gov.uk or you can find the information on the Wiltshire Council website at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/schools-learning-admissions-applying.  The Stonehenge School is a mixed, comprehensive school. We cater for boys and girls of all abilities aged 11 – 16 with a limit of 224 pupils into each year, divided into 8 forms of entry. We currently have over 900 pupils enrolled.  Further information regarding applying for a school place can be found by clicking here.

Visits to the school by prospective parents and students are encouraged and enable visitors to see the school on a working day before applying for a place. A guided tour with a senior member of staff can normally be arranged at a mutually convenient time on any school day (unfortunately at the moment this option has been suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic). To talk to our admissions officer or a member of staff, or to request a prospectus, please telephone 01980 623407 or mail us at admin@stonehenge.wilts.sch.uk
