About Our School
We are a large and vibrant secondary school, home to around 1,100 pupils from Amesbury and the surrounding area, including many from service families.
Our size allows us to offer a broad and ambitious curriculum, while our strong community spirit ensures that every child is known, valued and supported to succeed.

A Message from the Headteacher
I have been a member of staff at The Stonehenge School since 2013, and it is a privilege to now lead as Headteacher in a school where I have invested much of my life’s work. My subject and lifelong passion is English — I believe deeply in the power of language and literature to open minds, foster understanding and give young people a voice.
My passion for education comes from personal experience. As a child who received free school meals, I saw first-hand how education can open doors and provide the key to social mobility when combined with the right support and a personal drive to achieve. That belief continues to shape everything I do as a leader: creating a school where every child, regardless of background, feels empowered to reach their full potential.
I am fully dedicated to the children we serve, and to ensuring that our school continues to develop, grow and improve every year. The progress we have made is the result of the combined commitment of our staff, our pupils and our families — a community that works together for the success of every child.
