The increasing use of technology in all aspects of society makes confident, creative and productive use of ICT an essential skill for life.

KS3

We follow the National Curriculum in an exciting and engaging teaching technical skills and techniques, but also the understanding to apply these skills purposefully, safely and responsibly in learning.

Year7 - Creating a computer game (sequencing), my first weeks at Stonehenge (presentation), podcasting, surveys.

Year 8 -Spreadsheet modelling, creating a pacman game, evaulating webpages, creating an e-Card (animation), searching online safely.

Year 9- Create an interactive quiz or game, market the game. Preparation for GCSE-Business documents, training videos.

KS4

The main GCSE course offered is OCR Level 2 Nationals in ICT (double or triple award). We cover units in ICT Skills for Business, Graphics for the web, Animation for the www, Webpage Design, Multimedia, Creating Video.
